Welcome to the website of Huisartsenprakijk Hertel! Our general practitioners Dr. Judith Hertel and Dr. Eva Jonkman offer reliable and personal medical care for all age groups. We work together with three medical assistants, two psychologists and a general practioner in training, Dr Maud Harding. All staff members speak English as well as Dutch, Dr. Hertel is fluent in German. We understand the medical system in the Netherlands might be different from healthcare in your country of origin, and we are happy to help you with any questions you might encounter. Our practice is situated in Medical Center ‘de Vaart’ on the Irene Vorrinkplein. If your medical condition asks for additional medical tests, many of these can be performed on the ground floor of our building. These include: blood analysis, EKG, echocardiography, lungfunction test and osteoporosis measurement. Furthermore, Medical Center de Vaart offers consultations with a specialized diabetes PA, a dietician and a podologist.
Registration and appointments Unfortunately, our practice is currently closed for new registrations We advise you to activate your online medical file MijnGezondheid.Net and the corresponding App MedGemak. That way, you can directly communicate with our GP’s , sent pictures and order medicine. Note: sending a e-conslt message to the GP is not possible during the weekend. During weekdays, there is a maximum of e-consults that can be received by us. If the inbox is full, you can’t use this function and you can try the next day. Opening hours Office hours: monday through friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Online consultations will be answered within 48 hours During evenings, nights and weekends, GP-care is clustered in a communal health center: ‘De Huisartsenpost’. This center is opened on weekdays from 5:00 PM till 8.00 AM, during weekends, and on official holidays.
